DevOps Automation Engineer

DevOps Automation Engineer We are seeking a DevOps Automation Engineer to support a public sector digital transformation initiative. This role focuses on ensuring quality in the delivery of digital services across multiple modernization projects. The DevOps Specialist will work as part of cross-functional teams led by product owners, participating in field research, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and execution. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design and implementation of automation, infrastructure, and operational practices that enable efficient, effective, and affordable service delivery. This position requires someone who can design and implement automation for deployment, maintenance, and operations to support digital service delivery across two to three concurrent projects. The role involves creating test plans, test cases, and automated test suites; managing production environments including configuration, credentials, and database operations; designing CI/CD pipelines and deployment templates; implementing monitoring and telemetry tools for application observability; and supporting teams in adopting DevOps best practices. The DevOps Specialist will also work to remove manual processes through automation and AI solutions, and provide operations support for integration testing, security scans, performance testing, and limited availability launches.
